Land Beyond the Giants is my homage to old-school giant-slaying fantasy modules like Gary Gygax\u2019s \u201cAgainst the Giants\u201d series with a twist of maximum mayhem. If you\u2019re looking for high-stakes fun with big surprises, a sandbox-style adventure that blends iconic monster encounters with a ticking doomsday clock, this is the module for you! This adventure expands the story introduced in my previous module Maximum Mayhem Dungeons #0: Village on the Borderlands and is centered in the Hollow of the Three Kings, a deeply remote section of the Valley of the Moon. You can run Land Beyond the Giants directly as a sequel to the VotB sandbox or drop it seamlessly into your own home brew world and even tie it into a campaign with the classic Gygax original giants module series above. Our focus here is on player freedom, exploration, and scalable challenge. From sabotaging a monstrous war machine in the Western Earthen Highlands, to unmasking a shapeshifting horror in the frost-bitten northern Icehorn Peaks, to stopping a volcanic apocalypse in the blazing Southern Ashlands\u2014this story puts your players at the center of world-shaking events. Each of the three giant domains offers unique dangers, complex villains, and tactical encounters. The threats are grand, but the structure remains flexible\u2014meaning you can ramp up the mayhem or dig into the strained tensions between giant factions. Land Beyond the Giants is designed to be re-playable, expandable, and modular. The encounters are deadly, the treasures are legendary, and the outcomes are memorable.
