Description
Beyond the stars and across the endless void of space and time, the dreaded Star Spawn discovered the location of a primitive world overflowing with gold… Earth during the Old West. Aboard his hijacked starship, the USS Venture, and accompanied by his crew of vicious little green bastards, he tracked down an unsuspecting Anunnaki Class B freighter, seized it, massacred its crew, stole its navigational data, and set course for the American frontier. To plunder Earth’s vast gold reserves, he opened a rift through space and time, unleashing hordes of fantasy monsters to conquer the world and enslave mankind. Unfortunately for him, a fearless band of fantasy murder hobos came stumbling and bumbling through the very same portal, chasing the invading monsters while yelling and screaming like little children. Now stranded in the past, you must join forces with an unlikely ally—none other than President Abraham Lincoln himself. Together, you must battle alien invaders, fantasy beasts, and the Star Spawn himself! Saddle up, load your six-shooters, sharpen your swords, and prepare for the strangest showdown ever in Abraham Lincoln vs. the Star Spawn!

Authors Note:
Since I first wrote the Secret Machines of the Star Spawn module back in 2014 and mentioned in there of his travels to the Old West, I’ve been wanting to write a small Special Edition module covering his time there. Now that we are in the year of the America 250 Celebration I thought this is the perfect time do it is as I’ve had this persistent itch to write something special in honor of America and I knew this was the moment I’d been waiting for— the perfect chance to pay tribute to my country through the medium I love most. I know most of my backers and fellow gamers come to Dark Wizard Games looking for classic, straight-up high fantasy. Swords, sorcery, and deep dungeons are my bread and butter, too. But every now and then, a creator has to follow a story that just burns to be told. I really wanted to build something unique to celebrate America—a wild, genre-bending adventure that mixes cosmic sci-fi, classic fantasy, and the grit of the American Old West, complete with an appearance by Abraham Lincoln himself. I put my heart into crafting this special edition, and I think you’re going to have an absolute blast running it at your table. Thank you for supporting independent game design, for trusting me when I take a wild creative detour, and for being the best community in tabletop gaming. I hope you and your gaming group enjoy it as much as I did writing it! Thank you for you continued help and support of my modules!
